From becoming a literary editor to running our mentorship program to creating social media posts, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team. We check applications on a rolling basis.
Join Our Leadership Team
If you are a queer youth between the ages of 13 and 25, we would love to receive your work! We publish selected submissions on our website and give feedback to those who request it. We check submissions on a rolling basis and will respond at the end of each month. Our annual anthology is open from January to April and is distributed for free to GSAs and LGBTQ centers around the country.

Be an Ambassador
Ambassadors are responsible for spreading awareness on Dear Queer Youth Events and Programs in their local community as well as executing a fully funded in-person project in their local areas. This can look like a queer prom, a zine making event, or more!
Chapters
Dear Queer Youth Chapters are local, youth-led groups that bring our mission to life in schools and communities around the world. As a chapter, you’ll create safe, welcoming spaces for queer youth, host events and service projects, collaborate with LGBTQ+ organizations.
