From becoming a literary editor, to running our mentorship program, to creating social media posts, we are looking for passionate individuals to join our team. We check applications on a rolling basis.
Join Our Leadership Team
If you are a queer youth between the ages of 13-25, we would love to receive your work! We publish everything on our website, and the best works get featured in our social chanels as well as our annual anthology. The anthology will be printed and distributed for free to all its contributors. We check submissions on a rolling process and will respond at the end of each month.

Be a DQY Ambassador
Ambassadors are responsible for spreading awareness on Dear Queer Youth Events and Programs in their local community as well as executing a fully funded in-person project in their local areas. This can look like a queer prom, a zine making event, or more!
Chapters
Dear Queer Youth Chapters are local, youth-led groups that bring our mission to life in schools and communities around the world. As a chapter, you’ll create safe, welcoming spaces for queer youth, host events and service projects, collaborate with LGBTQ+ organizations.
